This is a book I wrote and produced while earning my Masters degree in Theology. I was inspired to write this book because there seemed to be lots of resources about this subject created for clergy but not many for lay church goer or non-church going person. This seemed incredibly problematic for me since everything I read about the subject stated that an educated congregation and congregants was the best defense against this kind of abuse.
I decided to write it in a question/answer format so it can be read as a traditional book from beginning to end or the reader could simply look at the table of contents and read the section that interested them. At around 100 pages, it is a quick and simple read designed to give a basic but helpful overview and dos and donuts about the subject.
A pdf of the complete book can be found here.
Book written, illustrated, printed and hand bound as gifts given out for free to people I met on the street on Valentine’s Day.
