Western Maine Mountain Housing

This website was designed for Western Maine Mountain Housing (WHCWMM) to support their mission of addressing the critical workforce housing shortage in the Western Maine mountains.

WHCWMM is a nonprofit organization focused on helping local communities thrive by engaging residents, businesses, and partners in identifying sites, securing funding, and developing housing that is attainable for workers and families who are essential to the regional economy. The site was built to communicate why housing matters locally, share the organization’s goals and strategy, and connect with neighbors, stakeholders, and potential partners. It targets community members, local employers, funders, and policymakers, with clear, human-centered storytelling and community insights that demonstrate the real impacts of housing challenges and the coalition’s approach to solving them.
